For example, if a
child is six years old at registration in January Spring Season but turns seven
before April 30th of that same year, that child would play in the U7 Coach Pitch Division
during the Spring season. If a child is six years old at
registration in August (Fall season) but turns seven before April
30th of the following year that child would play in the U8 Coach
Pitch Division during the Fall season.
All T-Ball and Coach
Pitch games will be played at MacArthur Park. Nine year old and
above will play at Wagon Wheel Park. Ages 9-10 play on fields
1, 2 & 5. Ages 11-12 play on fields 3 & 4. Ages 13
and up play on field 6.
CITY LEAGUE FORMAT
City League format is recreational.
TOURNAMENT TEAM FORMAT
Selected City League players (U-8 thru U14) will have an opportunity
to try out for Tournament Teams that will play to qualify and
compete in State level USSSA AA post-season tournaments. Tryouts for
the teams will be announced and conducted in late April/early May. These tournaments are played in June and July after the City League
season and City League Tournament is complete.

TRAVELING TEAM FORMAT
The
Coppell Baseball Association is proud to sanction several
select, skill based AA and AAA youth baseball programs
for players who demonstrate through a tryout the
ability to play at a higher competitive level.

Traveling Teams will play age pure.

Players who try out for Traveling Teams but are not selected may
still play in the City League.

Traveling Teams will play games on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Traveling Teams can expect to play pre-season weekend tournaments in
March, 18-20 regular season games and post season tournaments in
June and July.

Traveling Teams will compete to qualify for Super Series or USSSA
State and National level post-season tournaments

Each year in the Spring, the 12 year old Traveling Team will travel to
Cooperstown, New York to represent Coppell in a National tournament
during the late June/early July timeframe.
Traveling Team coaches will be selected from a pool of volunteers,
with final selection based on CBA coach selection committee
interview results and CBA approval of coach selection committee
recommendation.
