Spring 2019 Registration is OPEN

Coppell Baseball offers two programs:  Recreational and Select/Premier League.  These programs are designed to promote growth and competition.  The majority of our players participate in the Recreational Program. Select/Premier League Team are formed through a tryout process each fall and spring season.   During your registration you will be allowed to submit your registration payment and select league placement. For fees and age cut offs go to the FAQ section of the web site.

Twisted Root Coppell Give Back Night

Coppell Baseball Association give-back night at Twisted Root Coppell
 
When:  Friday, March 22, 2019....5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
 
 
Please come out and support the Coppell Baseball Association this Friday evening at our local Twisted Root partner. You must tell cashier when placing your order that you are supporting the Coppell Baseball Association and 10% of the sale proceeds will be given to the Coppell Baseball Association.  This includes to-go, call-in and bar sales.
 
The CBA uses these funds to support our organizational fees, such as player scholarships and equipment. Be sure to support Twisted Root during our CBA baseball classic this weekend, right down the street from our Wagon Wheel game fields in Old Town Coppell.

Rec. Player Update

Note to Rec famlies,

You will be provided upcoming information from you coach next week.  We are curently forming teams and hosting the coaches meeting on Sunday 3,3.

At this time, no players can switch team or request a coach.  Also, the last date for refunds was 2/9, no refunds will be issued at this time.

Games begin on March 30th for Blast ball to U11/12 teams.  Blast ball, U5, U6 and U7/8 will have an opening day parade on March 30th 9am followed by league play.

CBA Select Team Guest Player Procedure

CBA Select Guest Player Procedure:

  • A guest player may be added for a fee, which covers registration costs, administrative fees, credit card fees, city user fees and insurance.
  • The cost to add the guest player is $35.00, for a weekend event (ie. tournament or double-header).
  • If a guest player will be added for more than a weekend event, the cost is $75 for up to 6 games. 
  • If a guest player plays more than 6 games, they need to be officially added to the roster and pay full registration fees

CBA Alumni, Pittsburg Pirates interview

CBA has provided two 12U Select teams the opportunity to travel to Cooperstown, New York for the Dreams invitation-only tournament. For over 18 years, our teams participate in this event that includes more than 1,300 teams from across the nation.   The Cooperstown tournament is a lifetime experience for the players and families alike, and CBA is extremely proud of our teams’ continued participation in this special event.

PICK-A-BUDDY OR BUILD A TEAM

Pick-a-Buddy

Coppell Baseball Association offers a new program named Pick-a-Buddy.  Our goal is help player’s to feel more comfortable when beginning a new sport.   The program will follow the following guidelines listed below. 

Pick-a-Buddy Guidelines:

  • Player must be registered in either the Blast Ball, U5 or U6 league based on CBA date of birth rules.
  • Only one friend can be requested.
  • Players must be in the same age group.  Playing up or down is not allowed.
  • Request is subject to space availability on teams and is not a guaranteed request.
  • The deadline for this program will be the same as the registration deadline.  All requests must be in the CBA office on the proper form by the close of registration.

To sign up for this program, you must fill out the official Pick-a-Buddy form and mail to the CBA PO Box or email to laurajcba@yahoo.com.

  • Minimum of 5 players per team and a maximum of 8 players per team.
  • Players must be in the same age group.  Playing up or down is not allowed.
  • Request is subject to space availability on teams and is not a guaranteed request.
  • The deadline for this program will be the same as the registration deadline.  All requests must be in the CBA office on the proper form by the close of registration.

 No request will be honored after the last day of registration for the season.
